2026 Presidents Cup Results: United States Wins 17–13
The United States erased a three-point Sunday deficit by winning singles 9½–2½ at Medinah. Jacob Bridgeman delivered the clinching point on the 18th green.
Final score: United States 17 — International Team 13. The U.S. won nine singles matches and halved one, producing a record 9½–2½ final session and the largest Sunday comeback in Presidents Cup history.
Presidents Cup Day 1 Results: United States Leads 3–2
The United States earned three points and the International Team earned two in Thursday’s five four-ball matches.
How to read match-play results: A score such as “3 and 2” means the winning side was three holes ahead with only two holes left to play. The opponent could no longer catch up, so the match ended after the 16th hole.
Score after Day 1: United States 3 — International Team 2
Presidents Cup Day 2 Results: Internationals Sweep Friday 5–0
The International Team won all five foursomes matches Friday, turning a 3–2 deficit into a 7–3 lead.

Final score: United States 17 — International Team 13.
How the United States Completed the Comeback
The International Team carried a 10½–7½ lead into Sunday, the first time it had led entering singles on American soil. Brandt Snedeker front-loaded the U.S. lineup, and wins by Cameron Young, Justin Thomas and Scottie Scheffler started the charge.
Collin Morikawa gave the United States its first overall lead since Thursday, Jackson Koivun guaranteed the Cup could not be lost, and Jacob Bridgeman’s par on the 18th defeated Min Woo Lee and secured the winning point. The victory was the United States’ 11th consecutive Presidents Cup.

How the Presidents Cup Format Works
Four-ball
Each golfer plays their own ball. The lower score between the partners becomes the team’s score on that hole.
Foursomes
Partners play one ball and alternate shots. One player tees off on odd-numbered holes and the other on even-numbered holes.
Singles
All 12 players from each team play head-to-head matches on Sunday.
Each match is worth one point. A tied match awards half a point to each team. There are 30 points available, so 15½ points produce an outright winner; a 15-15 finish leaves the competition tied.
Major Storylines at Medinah
Medinah Course No. 3
The 2026 setup is listed at 7,564 yards and par 72. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow, Course No. 3 reopened in 2024 following an extensive OCM Golf redesign.
The transformation introduced larger greens, large-scale bunkering, wider strategic playing corridors, broader fescue areas, more open views and three new holes. The course hosting this Presidents Cup is substantially different from the Medinah remembered from the 2012 Ryder Cup.
Medinah has hosted three U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, the 2012 Ryder Cup and the 2019 BMW Championship. It now becomes a rare venue to host the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.
The Presidents Cup Returns to Melbourne in 2028
The next Presidents Cup is scheduled for Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia, in 2028. Kingston Heath—not “Kingston Hills”—will host the competition’s fourth visit to Melbourne.
