TaylorMade Qi4D Driver Specifications
Bridgeman switched to the Qi4D driver at the 2026 BMW Championship. At Biltmore he gained more than three strokes off the tee and hit 47 of 52 fairways.
Source conflict resolved
GolfWRX lists the driver shaft as 6.0. TaylorMade’s detailed player build sheet lists Project X Titan Green 60 6.5 and separately identifies it as 60X. My9Iron uses the manufacturer’s detailed specification and discloses the discrepancy.
Qi4D 3-Wood and 9-Wood
Bridgeman carries two Qi4D fairway woods with clearly separated roles. The 16.5-degree 3-wood uses a Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Blue 70 TX shaft. The 24-degree 9-wood uses the same shaft family at 80 grams in TX flex.
The high-lofted 9-wood supplies a steep-landing option into long holes before the bag transitions to a lower-launching utility iron.
Three TaylorMade Iron Models
Tour Preferred UDI 4-Iron
A penetrating utility option for shots where the 9-wood would launch too high.
P770 5-Iron
A single P770 creates the transition between the utility iron and compact scoring irons.
P7CB 6-PW
Compact cavity-back heads fill the remainder of the iron set through pitching wedge.
All seven irons use Project X 6.5 shafts, keeping one shaft profile across three head designs.
TaylorMade MG5 Wedge Setup
The 50-degree wedge starts the specialty set after the P7CB pitching wedge. Bridgeman uses a different shaft in the 60-degree wedge than in his 50- and 54-degree models.
TaylorMade Spider Tour Putter
Bridgeman led the Biltmore field in strokes gained putting, gaining more than eight strokes for the week.
Why Bridgeman Plays the TaylorMade TP5x
TaylorMade says Bridgeman moved into the TP5x after testing for more stopping power on firm greens while retaining his preferred iron launch windows. The company also reports that testing produced approximately 2–3 mph of additional driver ball speed.
