Scoring

Foursomes: Partners alternate shots with one ball. Fourball: All four golfers play their own ball, and each team counts its better score on the hole.

The Host Course

Why Bernardus Golf Matters

Bernardus Golf is a Kyle Phillips-designed heathland course that opened in 2018 and previously hosted the Dutch Open. Its exposed setting, natural hazards, expansive bunkering and demanding greens reward positioning and precision. The venue is also hosting the PING Junior Solheim Cup on the same course, a first for the event.

Before the Matches

Charley Hull and Lottie Woad Previewed the Solheim Cup

Hull and Woad discussed their partnership, Woad’s debut and the possibility of another high-profile match involving Nelly Korda. After a difficult start together, both won their Sunday singles matches: Hull beat Megan Khang 3 and 2, and Woad beat Auston Kim 2 and 1.

The Cup-Winning Sequence

Woad’s victory moved Europe to 14 points with Ciganda already guaranteed at least a half. Ciganda then completed a 4-and-2 win over Jennifer Kupcho, taking Europe past the 14½-point winning threshold.
