George Bryan Selected Nick Voke for YGT Stop 2
Nick Voke joined Your Golf Tour as George Bryan’s wildcard for Stop 2 at Rams Hill Golf Club in California. The selection was revealed during the August 31, 2026 episode on Grant Horvat Golf.
Voke gives Team George a wildcard with extensive professional tournament experience rather than a player coming primarily from creator golf. His résumé includes an Iowa State All-America career, three victories during a four-start stretch as a new professional in China, substantial Korn Ferry Tour experience and another professional win in 2025.

One of New Zealand’s Leading Young Golfers
Before moving to the United States, Voke established himself among New Zealand’s stronger young amateurs. His pre-college record included victories at the Auckland Anniversary Championship and Danny Lee Springfield Open, runner-up finishes in the New Zealand Stroke Play and South Island Stroke Play, and a third-place finish in the North Island Stroke Play.
Earlier highlights included the 2011 Stewart Gold Cup and a 2012 North Harbour Strokeplay victory in which Iowa State reported that he finished 17 under and won by seven strokes. He also participated in New Zealand Golf’s Srixon Academy and served as Auckland Golf captain.
Five Wins, an All-America Honor and a Record 61
Voke became one of the most accomplished golfers in Iowa State history. He completed his Cyclone career with five tournament victories, 18 top-10 finishes and a 71.89 career scoring average.
His defining college performance came at the 2017 NCAA Austin Regional. Voke won the individual title and closed with a school-record 10-under 61. His 54-hole total of 199 also set an Iowa State record and helped the Cyclones advance to the NCAA Championship.
Voke finished tied for 18th at the 2017 NCAA Championship and earned PING Honorable Mention All-America recognition. Iowa State’s contemporary All-America release lists a 71.31 scoring average for his final season.
Three Wins in Four Starts After Turning Pro
Voke turned professional in 2018 and quickly produced an exceptional run on PGA TOUR Series-China. He won the Qinhuangdao Championship, Macau Championship and Clearwater Bay Open, giving him three victories in a four-start stretch during his first professional season.
That performance accelerated his path toward the Korn Ferry Tour and established the strongest winning stretch of his early professional career.
Important distinction: Voke also won a Web.com Tour Q-School First Stage event in October 2017 while still officially an amateur. My9Iron does not count that result among his professional victories.
A Substantial Run in PGA TOUR Developmental Golf
Official PGA TOUR career records document 67 Korn Ferry Tour starts for Voke, with 27 made cuts, one runner-up finish, four top-10 finishes and seven top-25 finishes. His recorded official Korn Ferry earnings total $161,990, and his best points-list finish was 88th in the 2020–21 season.
Those numbers distinguish Voke from a player who merely made occasional developmental-tour appearances. He spent a meaningful portion of his professional career competing at that level while also pursuing opportunities internationally.
Another Win in 2025 and Active International Golf in 2026
Voke added another documented professional victory in 2025 at the Webex Players Series Sydney hosted by Peter O’Malley. Combined with his three 2018 PGA TOUR Series-China victories, that gives him four documented professional wins across those records.
He remained active in serious tournament golf in 2026. Official Japan Golf Tour records show Voke finishing tied for 11th at the ISPS HANDA Japan-Australasia Championship with rounds of 70, 66, 70 and 71 for an 11-under total of 277.
That recent activity matters to his YGT profile: Voke should be described as an active professional golfer expanding into creator golf, not as a former touring professional who has left competitive golf behind.

Soccer, a Skateboarding Injury and the Road to Golf
Voke’s PGA TOUR biography says soccer was initially his stronger sport and that he had been invited into an elite New Zealand soccer program before ultimately choosing golf. He has said no one else in his family played golf and that he was introduced to the game through a friend’s parent.
During his freshman year of college, a skateboarding accident sidelined him for approximately four months and left him with a titanium plate and seven screws in his clavicle. He later returned to build the record-setting Iowa State career that culminated in his 2017 NCAA Regional victory.
