JP Méhu Clubs and Specs
JP Méhu’s own 2026 WITB documents a mixed-brand 14-club setup built around a Titleist TSi3 driver, TaylorMade SIM Titanium 3-wood, Takomo irons and wedges, and a Scotty Cameron putter.
Quick answer: In his 2026 WITB filmed at The Abaco Club, JP Méhu documented a Titleist TSi3 driver, TaylorMade SIM Titanium 3-wood, Takomo 101U 2-iron, Takomo 301 CB/MB combo set, three Takomo Skyforger wedges and a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 putter. JP did not identify a golf ball, so this page does not assign one.

When Was JP Méhu’s Bag Documented?
The controlling source is Méhu’s own JapesGolf WITB filmed at The Abaco Club in the Bahamas. JP introduces it as his “what’s in the bag for 2026” and names every club category while playing three holes.
This is a dated 2026 snapshot, not a claim that every specification remained unchanged for Big Break x Good Good.

Titleist TSi3 Driver and TaylorMade SIM Titanium 3-Wood
Titleist TSi3 Driver
JP described the TSi3 as a longtime fixture and paired it with a Mitsubishi Diamana White Board 63 X shaft. He did not state the head loft, hosel position, playing length or swing weight.
TaylorMade SIM Titanium 3-Wood
The oldest club in the setup was an original SIM Titanium 15° 3-wood with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 7 X. JP said its loft was set slightly lower but did not state the final effective loft.
He valued it as a straighter option on tight courses that still traveled nearly as far as his driver. That is JP’s assessment, not a measured distance claim.
Takomo 101U 2-Iron
Méhu replaced his 3-iron with a Takomo 101U 2-iron carrying a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 95 X shaft. He said it supplied more distance and a better option for low stingers from the tee. The exact loft was not stated.
301 CB Long Irons and 301 MB Scoring Irons
JP blended Takomo 301 CB heads from 4–7 with 301 MB heads from 8–PW. Both portions use KBS C-Taper Lite 115 X shafts and Golf Pride MCC Plus4 grips.
During the iron segment, JP described the build as 2° flat and one-quarter inch short. My9Iron applies those adjustments to the irons rather than assuming every wood, wedge and putter shares the same measurements.
Why the split matters: The combo construction places cavity-back help in the longer irons while retaining the compact MB profile in the scoring irons. That logic fits JP’s delivery; it is not automatically the right split for another golfer.
Takomo Skyforger Wedges in 52°, 56° and 60°
JP documented three Skyforger wedges with four-degree loft gaps and Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Black shafts. His grip changed by loft because he preferred a different feel in different scoring clubs.
| Loft | Bounce / Grind | Shaft | Grip Detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| 52° | 10° bounce; F grind | Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Black | Black-and-white MultiCompound |
| 56° | 12° bounce; V grind | Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Black | MultiCompound; exact version not stated |
| 60° | 12° bounce; V grind | Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Black | SuperStroke corded; exact model not stated |
JP identified the 60° as his favorite wedge. Playing lengths, lie angles and swing weights were not stated.
Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 Putter
JP documented a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 with the smallest Ping grip he could find. He said the grip had been installed roughly two or three months before filming.
The video does not establish the Newport generation, putter length, loft, lie, head weight or exact grip model.

What Golfers Can Learn From JP Méhu’s Setup
The useful lesson is the structure of the bag, not copying every X-flex shaft. JP uses a dependable older 3-wood, a driving iron instead of a 3-iron, a blended iron set and three wedges with different grips.
