What Businesses Does Grant Horvat Own?
Grant holds ownership stakes in Primo Golf apparel and Takomo Golf equipment, and co-founded Your Golf Tour and Source Golf Network. He’s one of the first YouTube golf creators to move from paid sponsorships into actual equity — a shift that’s become part of the broader creator-economy story in golf.
Primo Golf
Grant became Primo Golf’s first owner from outside the founding family in March 2024, after several years as an ambassador for the brand. Primo remains founded, led, and majority-held by its founding cousins — Grant’s stake made him a genuine owner, not the sole one.
Since then, he’s had a hands-on role: sitting in on product meetings, working on design and development, and fronting limited Grant-branded drops rather than just wearing the gear in videos.
Takomo Golf
In January 2025, Grant announced he’d become a shareholder in Takomo Golf, a Finnish direct-to-consumer club manufacturer. Founder and CEO Sebastian Haapahovi remains the majority owner running the company from its Turku, Finland headquarters — Grant’s stake is a minority position, not a takeover.
Shortly after Grant’s announcement, the Bryan Bros — PGA Tour winner Wesley Bryan and his brother George — joined as shareholders too, making Takomo one of the more unusual ownership structures in golf equipment: a brand built around creator-shareholders rather than tour endorsements.
Your Golf Tour
Grant co-founded Your Golf Tour alongside the Bryan Bros — a creator-led competitive circuit built specifically for digital-first coverage rather than traditional tour broadcasting. It’s a bet that creator golf can support its own competitive infrastructure, not just entertainment content.
Source Golf Network
Grant also participates in Source Golf, a creator network alongside Bryson DeChambeau and the Bryan Bros. It’s less about a single product and more about golf creators pooling audience and production resources — another sign of creators building shared infrastructure instead of competing channel by channel.
Why This Ownership Model Matters
Most golf-creator deals still look like traditional endorsements: a brand pays for exposure, the creator wears the gear. Grant’s deals with Primo and Takomo work differently — he’s a genuine equity holder with a stake in whether the company actually succeeds, not just a paid face.
That shift matters beyond Grant individually. It’s part of a broader pattern of direct-to-consumer golf brands treating creators as partners with real skin in the game, rather than just another advertising line item.
