George Bryan IV’s Current WITB
This setup was published in November 2025 after George and Wesley Bryan appeared at the Asian Tour’s International Series in the Philippines. Because creator and professional golfers change equipment, treat it as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent bag.

What Driver Does George Bryan IV Use?
George uses a Titleist GT3 driver set at 8 degrees with a Mitsubishi Diamana BB 63 X shaft.
The low loft matches a player who creates substantial speed and does not need help launching the ball. The GT3 also gives him adjustable center-of-gravity control without moving into the largest, highest-MOI head in the Titleist lineup.
The switch was notable because George had kept a Callaway Rogue ST driver in the bag for roughly three years. Moving away from a trusted head suggests the GT3 had to produce a meaningful improvement rather than simply being newer.
Should You Play an 8-Degree Driver?
Probably not unless your speed and delivery create too much launch or spin. George’s setup fits a fast player. Most golfers need more loft and more forgiveness than his driver configuration provides.
Why George Lofts His 3-Wood Down
George carries a Callaway Paradym 3-wood marked at 15 degrees but adjusted down to 14 degrees. It is paired with a Fujikura Ventus Black 7 X shaft.
That creates a stronger flight and more tee-shot distance than a standard 15-degree setup. For a player with George’s speed, the club can function as a controlled alternative to driver without sacrificing too much distance.
The Ventus Black profile is built for stability and a lower launch window, matching the aggressive loft setting.
Why George Bryan Switched From a 2-Iron to a Hybrid
George uses a Cobra DS-Adapt hybrid at 19 degrees with a UST Mamiya LIN-Q M40X shaft.
He previously relied on a 2-iron in this part of the bag, but the hybrid offers more consistency and forgiveness from long range.
That is an important equipment lesson. Even an elite ball striker may choose a hybrid when it produces a more reliable result from the fairway, rough, or an imperfect lie.
Bag-building lesson: the best long club is not always the most demanding one you can hit. It is the one that produces the flight and consistency the course requires.
What Irons Does George Bryan IV Use?
George plays Takomo 301 CB irons from 4-iron through pitching wedge with Nippon Modus 125 X shafts.
The 301 CB is a compact forged cavity-back iron. It gives a skilled player a traditional shape and strong feedback while offering more stability than a pure muscle-back blade.
The heavy X-flex Modus shafts are consistent with George’s speed and preference for a controlled flight.
Would Takomo 301 CB Irons Fit You?
They may fit a strong ball striker who values control and compact shaping. Golfers needing more forgiveness or distance support may be better served by a different iron profile.
The Bryan Bros-Designed Takomo BB803 Wedges
George carries Takomo BB803 wedges at 50, 54, and 58 degrees.
The model was developed with input from George and Wesley. “BB” stands for Bryan Bros, while 803 references the South Carolina area code where they grew up.
George uses custom grinding to better match the way the sole moves through the turf. His wedge shafts are slightly softer than his iron shafts, moving from Modus 125 X in the irons to Modus 120 S in the scoring clubs.
The 50-54-58 progression keeps the gaps simple and gives him three distinct scoring lofts without carrying a 60-degree wedge.
Why this section matters: the wedges are not simply clubs George endorses. They are part of the Bryan Bros brand and were shaped with direct input from both brothers.
What Putter Does George Bryan Use?
George uses a L.A.B. Golf DF3 putter with a TPT shaft.
The DF3 uses L.A.B.’s lie-angle-balanced design to reduce the amount the face wants to rotate during the stroke.
The move is visually significant because the DF3 is very different from a traditional blade. It shows that George is willing to make a major setup change when the performance benefit is convincing.
What Golf Ball Does George Bryan Play?
George’s November 2025 setup lists the 2025 Titleist Pro V1.
The Pro V1 provides a lower flight than the Pro V1x, premium greenside spin, and a softer feel. George was not reported to be under a golf-ball contract, so this part of the bag may be more likely to change than clubs tied to an equipment partnership.
Should You Play the Same Ball as George?
Not automatically. The best ball depends on the distance, greenside spin, feel, workability, forgiveness, and price profile you prefer.
