Wesley Bryan Picked Evans Lewis for YGT Stop 2
Evans Lewis entered Your Golf Tour as Wesley Bryan’s wildcard for Stop 2 at Rams Hill Golf Club in California. The selection was revealed in the August 31, 2026 episode on Grant Horvat Golf.
The pick extends an existing relationship. Lewis has played repeatedly with Wesley, credited him with helping improve his short game and approach play, and built much of his early creator-golf visibility inside the Bryan Bros orbit.
During the Stop 2 episode, Wesley explained that he had watched Lewis improve rapidly after giving him the opportunity. Team Wesley finished the Episode 1 front nine at 7 under, one shot behind Team Brad.

From North Greenville All-American to South Carolina
Lewis began his college career at North Greenville University and developed from a walk-on into a two-time Division II PING All-American. He helped North Greenville win Conference Carolinas championships in 2018 and 2021 and won the 2020 Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate.
He transferred to South Carolina, finished tied for second at the 2022 Augusta Haskins Award Invitational and then finished T5 at 6 under at the NCAA Norman Regional to earn the individual qualifying position for the NCAA Division I Championship.
During the 2022–23 season he started all 11 events for South Carolina, averaged 72.30 across 30 rounds and led the Gamecocks with 15 rounds of par or better before graduating in spring 2023.
Professional Golf Attempt and Continued Competition
Lewis describes himself publicly as an attempted professional golfer. Official PGA TOUR records document that he advanced through First Stage of 2023 PGA TOUR Q-School. A verified record placing him on a specific full-time professional tour after that run has not been established.
He remained active in high-level competition and earned the second-alternate position at a 2025 U.S. Open local qualifier at Solina Golf Club.
How Evans Lewis Knows Wesley Bryan
Lewis and Wesley Bryan built a friendship through competitive golf, shared practice and creator content. Lewis has credited Wesley with improving his chipping, wedge play and approach game, and he has been documented using a two-iron he said Wesley gave him.
The connection predates Lewis’s own channel. Lewis has recalled winning a Bryan Bros and Rhoback giveaway when he was a teenager. Years later, Wesley became the opponent in Lewis’s first YouTube upload and eventually selected him for Team Wesley at YGT Stop 2.
A Fast Start in Creator Golf
Lewis launched his channel with an 18-hole match against Wesley Bryan. His early uploads expanded quickly through matches with Bryan Bros collaborators and accomplished golfers, including Wesley and George Bryan.
His style combines high-level competitive golf with self-deprecating humor and the chemistry of a player already comfortable inside the Bryan Bros creator circle.
Evans Lewis WITB
Lewis has not published a complete traditional WITB. In 2026 video footage reviewed by My9Iron, he was documented with a black L.A.B. Golf DF3 putter, a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, Titleist players-style irons and the two-iron he said Wesley Bryan gave him. Exact woods, iron model, shafts, wedges and full specifications remain unverified.
