Phoebe Brinker’s Duke Career

Signature Victory

Winning the 2022 ACC Championship

Brinker captured the 2022 ACC individual title with rounds of 70, 65 and 71 for a 10-under total of 206. She won by six strokes, became the 16th Duke golfer to claim the conference title and tied a Duke record for the lowest 54-hole ACC Championship score.

Her second-round 65 tied an ACC record, and she went 38 consecutive holes without a bogey during the championship. The performance remains the clearest single result demonstrating the level of golf she brought into creator competition.

Amateur Golf and Legal Career

Why Phoebe Brinker Did Not Immediately Turn Professional

Brinker had the résumé and ability to pursue professional golf, but she did not want the sport to define every part of her life. After graduating from Duke in May 2024, she moved to Boston for a two-year corporate-program paralegal position with Ropes & Gray while considering law school.

She continued competing as an amateur around her work schedule. In 2025, she made her fourth appearance in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and later competed in the Massachusetts Women’s Amateur.

Her aunt, Suzy Whaley, caddied for her at the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Whaley is a former PGA of America president and became the first woman since Babe Zaharias to qualify for a PGA TOUR event when she entered the 2003 Greater Hartford Open.

No reliable, complete and current Phoebe Brinker WITB has been located. Golf Girl Games footage can show individual clubs in use, but it does not establish her full setup, exact shafts, lofts, grips, golf ball or current equipment relationships.

My9Iron will add a separate Clubs & Specs page only after Brinker, Golf Girl Games, a manufacturer or a detailed fitting video documents a dated configuration. Until then, assigning models from incidental video frames would be speculation.
