What’s Changed Since

October 2025: Irons & Wedges Update

In an October 2025 Takomo video, Kwon walked through his own iron and wedge setup alongside fellow creators Sam Heung Min and Taco Golf. This is the most recent independently documented look we found at his irons and wedges — scoped to those two categories only, in his own words.

Category Club Detail
Irons (4–5) Takomo 301 CB Kwon’s own stated carries: ~220 (4i), ~205 (5i)
Irons (6–PW) Takomo 301 MB Set splits to MB starting at the 6-iron
Wedges Takomo 51° gap, 55° sand, 60° lob

“Not because I’m good, but because looks cool. I’m on YouTube. It doesn’t matter how I play anymore.”

— Luke Kwon, on why he still plays MB blades from the 6-iron down

Kwon also explained his wedge gapping the same way: an old 47° pitching wedge stretched out in four-degree steps to 51, 55, and 60 — a habit he calls “superstitious” more than performance-driven.

“THIS is our Takomo Setup” — Luke Kwon, Sam Heung Min & Taco Golf, Oct 26, 2025. Shafts and grips were not stated in this video and aren’t carried forward from 2024.
