How Recommendations Are Generated
Each My9Iron fitting compares your answers against calibrated profiles for the golf equipment included in that fitting.
Product profiles are built from independent testing, published performance data, and documented product characteristics where reliable evidence is available.
Rather than simply ranking products from “best” to “worst,” the fitting looks for the golf ball, driver, iron, or other piece of equipment whose performance characteristics most closely match your preferences, needs, and playing style.
The scoring system is tested across a wide range of realistic golfer profiles and reviewed for unsupported factors, incomplete evidence, product bias, and recommendations that appear too heavily concentrated around one brand.
Product profiles and fitting logic are reviewed as new independent evidence and updated equipment become available.
The goal is not to recommend the most popular product or the biggest brand.
The goal is to recommend the equipment that best fits your game.
